Dr. Sergio González to Present on Mexican History in Wisconsin

Dr. Sergio González, Assistant Professor of History at Marquette University and Core Member of the Wisconsin Latinx History Collective, will be presenting a virtual talk on the integral contributions of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in Wisconsin.


The talk, presented by the Mexican American Civil Rights Institute, will be live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube at 6 PM Central Time on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.


Dr. González is the author of Strangers No Longer: Latino Belonging and Faith in Twentieth-Century Wisconsin (University of Illinois Press, 2024) and Mexicans in Wisconsin (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2017).
